Desert Topographics

A collection of images that can broadly be defined as ‘New Topographics’ taken in the desolate lands of the American West.

I have lived in and traveled through this region for years. Evert time I leave the cities and venture beyond my comfort zone I find something strange and new. Some scenes are of decay and present a fading memory of better times other time I pause only briefly to admire the vast open landscape. A landscape that is indifferent to humans and could become your end just as quickly as it could become your muse.
